Overview & Highlights

If you’re wandering through the vibrant streets of Iligan City, make sure to stop by Iliganon, a gem hidden in the heart of Barangay Pala-o at the H. Balan Building on Quezon Avenue Extension. This restaurant artfully combines local flair with culinary delights that reflect the rich heritage of Filipino cuisine. From its artistic interior to the flavorful dishes, Iliganon creates a cozy atmosphere that welcomes food enthusiasts and casual diners alike.

One standout feature of Iliganon is its commitment to fresh and authentic ingredients. Take their Durian Shake, for example. Made from 100% real durian fruit, this shake is often praised for being surprisingly mild, even for those who might shy away from durian due to its notorious reputation. According to customer Rosemarie Chimkee Uy, the shake is a must-try, suggesting it’s worth trying even if you’re a non-durian eater.

When it comes to hearty meals, Beef Rendang deserves a special mention. This spicy dish is a crowd favorite, known for its vibrant flavors that cater to those who appreciate a kick in their meals. While some diners, like Fely Meda Noynay, noted its saltiness, the overall experience remains memorable. Pair it with their Chicken Chicharon or Calamares Seafood for a truly fulfilling dining experience.

The ambiance adds to the appeal; the rustic vibe is matched with uniquely designed tables that showcase a blend of artistic creativity and comfort. As Ralphe puts it, this setting is as delightful as the meals served, making it hard to resist a second visit. Whether you’re there for lunch or dinner, Iliganon grows on you, as Joshua Garcia remarked about his repeated cravings for their standout dishes.

Don't miss out on the Iliganon Delight Pizza, recommended by Roanna Tolentino, for those who enjoy pizza with an extra twist. It’s perfect for any time of the day and complements their more substantial options seamlessly. With so many flavors to explore, Iliganon not only satisfies your hunger but also invites you to enjoy a rich tapestry of culinary experiences that reflect the essence of local dining.

So next time you find yourself in Iligan City, visit Iliganon. Enjoy the vibe, sip on that unforgettable durian shake, and indulge in dishes that showcase the best of what Philippine cuisine has to offer. For inquiries, you can reach them at +63 63 225 4577. Must try their durian shake, no pungent smell - suggestion from a non durian eater. Spicy level of their beef rendang

I have only tried their Beef Randang and Carbonara so I can't really say much about their *other* food. I love their unique tables. Very artistic. 10/10. The Beef Randang was good but a bit salty for me. But I love how spicy it was. Their carbonara is good too but too cheesy for me.

The rustic vibe of the place is amazing. The food is also great. My favorite dish on their menu are beef randang and garlic con mozarella pizza. Edit: Cafe Ilaya and Iliganon has the same owner. And Cafe Ilaya is closed for the time being due to the pandemic.

There's something about this place that you have to go back to. One of them is their durian shake. Another, Randang dish! Order those two, and you can never go wrong.

I had Chicken Rendang and Durian Shake and loved them both... but their Iliganon Delight Pizza really stood out. Even after having a rice meal, I consumed several slices. Too bad I was not able to take a picture of it. Definitely, a must try if you're going to Iligan.

We tried their famous Randang (Beef and Chicken) and Durian Shake. It was great. The establishment should provide adequate lighting on the facade for easy recognition.

Cozy ang ambiance... the best ang durian shake... downside, limited parking area.
